The “Our Lady Help of Christians” Pharmacy
Step inside the historic pharmacy that once occupied house no. 164/I on Jindřichův Hradec’s main square, where a pharmacy had existed since the 17th century. The exhibition brings together furnishings from its original interior. This remarkable set of richly decorated Neoclassical pharmacy furniture dates from the turn of the 19th century. The drawers bear Latin inscriptions and, most strikingly, painted landscape views. Original pharmacy vessels are displayed alongside older objects from the museum’s collections and replicas of historic items.
Die Apotheke „Zur hilfreichen Muttergottes“
Entdecken Sie die Einrichtung einer historischen Apotheke aus dem Haus Nr. 164/I am Hauptplatz von Jindřichův Hradec, in dem bereits im 17. Jahrhundert eine Apotheke bestand. Die Ausstellung wurde aus Teilen ihrer ursprünglichen Ausstattung zusammengestellt. Das einzigartige klassizistische Apothekenmobiliar aus der Zeit um 1800 besticht durch seinen reichen Dekor. Die Schubladen tragen lateinische Aufschriften und vor allem gemalte Landschaftsansichten. Originale Apothekengefäße werden durch ältere Stücke aus den Museumssammlungen und Nachbildungen historischer Gegenstände ergänzt.
