The Landfras Printing House
This exhibition presents a rare collection of objects associated with the most important printing house outside Prague in the 19th century. The Landfras printing house operated in Jindřichův Hradec from 1797 until the mid-20th century. Discover how a printed book was made in the 19th century through examples of its publications and their bindings, alongside personal memorabilia of the Landfras family.
Die Landfras-Druckerei
Die Ausstellung präsentiert eine außergewöhnliche Sammlung von Zeugnissen der bedeutendsten Druckerei außerhalb Prags im 19. Jahrhundert. Die Landfras-Druckerei war von 1797 bis zur Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts in Jindřichův Hradec tätig. Anhand ihrer Druckerzeugnisse und Bucheinbände lässt sich die Entstehung eines gedruckten Buches im 19. Jahrhundert nachvollziehen. Persönliche Erinnerungsstücke der Familie Landfras ergänzen die Ausstellung.
